I Need Something Reliable, So I Have to Sell My '68 Pontiac Firebird
Now that high school is over and I'm living on my own, things sure have changed. Bills pile up, school is far, and gas is expensive. You can imagine that my '68 Firebird gets pretty crappy mileage, and its upkeep is getting harder and harder to afford. I guess college means I have to sell my Pontiac Firebird. My roommate has a compact Japanese car, and his monthly gas bills are way lower than mine, so I think I'll go for something good for the environment for a while. Sad though it may be, I have to sell my Pontiac, and fast.
What a Great Pontiac
Truly my Firebird helped my climb to popularity in high school. The girls seem to like the old muscle cars, and the souped-up engine made it faster than my buddy's BMW. I scored a lot of dates because of that car, and that is the hardest part about having to sell my Pontiac Firebird. Not to mention all of the football games it took us to, getting pumped up in the car with loud music and fast driving before we got suited up for the field. It's a symbol of my boyhood, and I'll miss it.
An Easy Sell
Sentimental attachment or not, I was ready to sell my Pontiac and ready to sell it now. Being a working student I really didn't have a lot of time to put into selling the 'bird. So I asked around, and one of the girls in my English class had sold a car by calling Cash4UsedCars.net. She said they came to the school parking lot and were able to close the deal within the class hour. Sounded good to me, so I asked her for the web site address and went to check it out myself.
Not only did they make it easy to get them all my information, they came to me on campus during my lunch hour. Cash4UsedCars.net gave my beloved Firebird a thorough once-over, and about half an hour later the appraiser had an offer for me. I think I held my breath when he told me. Surprisingly enough, it was a fair offer and definitely better than I would have gotten if I had put an ad in the newspaper. Plus, I didn't have to do anything but unlock the door. It doesn't get any better than that.
