My Wife Is Making Me Sell My Jeep!

My wife told me it was her or the Jeep, and that almost made it a tough decision - my Jeep has never given me an ultimatum. Seriously, I love my wife, and I know she is just concerned that one of these times when I go four-wheeling with my buddies in Glamis, someone will get hurt - namely, me.  So I'm going to be a good husband and sell my Jeep, even though it pains me to do so because to sell my Jeep will be like selling a piece of my youth.

Time to Sell

Known for their rugged hardiness and aptitude to crawling over terrain most 4x4 trucks can't handle, the Jeep is a good time in the desert. I think my wife figures that if I get rid of the Jeep, I get rid of my weekends of riding the sand dunes. Shhh, don't tell her, but my buddy said that if I have to sell my Jeep, he was going to buy one.

Getting a Good Price

If I was going to sell this piece of my youth, I was going to get a good price on it. I set the bar high, in the hopes that the price would turn potential buyers away. It worked for a little while, then my wife called me on it. She insisted that I put a fair asking price in my classified ad. As the price dropped, the crap grew, and many of the people I dealt with were not serious about buying anything. I found myself wasting more and more of my time trying to sell the Jeep that I love.

One of my buddies had recently sold a car using Cash4UsedCars.net. He told me to give them a try, even though I'm not so computer savvy. I didn't have to use the computer at all; I simply called them, and I was able to answer all of their questions over the phone. During that same phone call I was able to make an appointment for the appraiser to come look at my Jeep.

Cash for My Jeep!

In the end, I decided that this is where I should have started. It was quick and easy, and Cash4UsedCars.net gave me cash that day. Beyond that, they took care of all the paperwork, which I would be loathe to do considering I didn't want to sell it in the first place. I took the cash straight to the music shop and bought myself a drum set. I don't know how to play, but I'm sure my wife will love hearing me learn my newest hobby!
