The Best Way to Sell My Dodge

I've always been a Dodge enthusiast; in fact, I intend to stay loyal to the brand as long as they keep selling me good vehicles. Alas, the time has come to sell my old Dodge and buy a new one. Like anyone, I hate to sell a car and will actually hold on to one longer than I should just to avoid selling it. My experience with my local Dodge dealers has been less than adequate lately. This may just be the service department; however, I refuse to set foot in any of the local Dodge dealerships unless it is absolutely necessary. I may buy used simply to avoid the dealership altogether. That is one options struck off my list of options to sell my Dodge.

Options Quickly Eliminated

As with the Dodge dealership, I immediately put a line through used car dealerships as well. Plus, I had already decided that I wasn't going to deal with selling it in the classifieds or Auto Trader. When selling a car as an individual, especially a woman, everyone you try to sell to suddenly becomes an expert. No thanks!

I asked friends and family for their advice, and the most helpful bit came from my dad, who told me to pray. Although it's a viable option, I'm not sure it's a very proactive one when it comes to helping me sell my Dodge.

Able to Sell My Dodge Online

I ended up turning to an online service I happened to run across while searching for ways to sell a car. I called them up and asked a few questions. The appraiser on the other end of the line was helpful and informative, so I decided to fill out their online form. Not long after, I received a phone call from the same appraiser, who wanted to set up an appointment to see my Dodge. She said that within 30 minutes of seeing the vehicle, she could make me an offer. I didn't see a downside, so I made an appointment for her to come to my house and appraise my Dodge right in my driveway.

True to her word, the appraisal was quick and easy. The car was in great condition, so I was curious to see how much the offer was going to be. I had a good idea how much my Dodge was worth to me as the seller, but the value to me was always more than it was to the buyer. What I didn't know was that filling out the online form had given me an advantage, and the appraiser had come armed with several offers already.  There was no haggling; she simply put cash on my coffee table and said, "If you are ready to sell your Dodge, this is how much it is worth to us."

The price was more than I expected, so I jumped on it right away. How often does someone offer you a fair cash price on a used vehicle? If you are looking to sell a Dodge or any other used car, check out Cash4UsedCars.net, who makes it easy to do.
